We had a great turn out for the Friday adult class end of term tournament. It was played in beautiful sunshine and Some fine tennis was played with Carolyn De Pury just pipping Jane Everett into first place. Well done to all of you!
Great Turn Out For Tennis Xpress at Sundridge Park!
We had a fantastic first Tennis Xpress adult class in glorious sunshine last Friday. I think we may have some stars in the making! Well done to all and see you after half term.
Sundridge Park's Girls 12's Put Up a Fantasic fight!
The Girls 12's team comprising of Maria Manta, Annabel Nuijens, Aukse Paskauskaite & Iona Ibe-Spence took Sevenoaks's A (one of the favourite's for the Kent Inter Club title) to the wire in their match played on Sunday. Maria and Annabel notched up 2 brilliant wins in the their singles. Aukse lost a cliff-hanger singles and all other matches were extremely close. The Girls lost 4-2, but were so close to pulling off a great victory. Two happy girls after their singles matches!

Well done to the Boys 14's (Torin and Hadi), Boys 12's (Torin and Gajan) & Girls 14's (Maria and Rachel) teams for victories in the Kent Inter Club Junior leagues at the weekend. Great picture of Maria and Rachel celebrating their win!
Quorn Cup
The sun came out for the Quorn Cup Tournament. Twenty pairs of parents and children between 6-10 slugged it out with mini red balls, small rackets and small courts! There were smiles all round - it was a fantastic afternoon.
Well done to all the children and adults who took part, you were great sports! And we mustn't forget a congratulations to our winners Jon England and Alex and runners up Paulo and Paulo (Junior).

Casino Night
The clubhouse transformed itself into Las Vegas at the weekend. Enjoying homemade pizza, prosecco and a spot of blackjack and roulette, members had a fantastic time. Definitely one to be repeated!.
Sundridge Park Girls Rock in Junior Kent Inter Club matches!!
The Sundridge Park Girls Under 16 (Emma Eismontaite and Rachel Harrison) and Girls under 14 (Maria Manta and Annabel Nuijens) teams both had convincing victories this weekend in the Kent Inter Club league. Emma and Rachel (pictured) beat Bromley Wendover 3-0 and Maria and Annabel beat Horsmonden 3-0 - well done girls, keep up the good work!!
Family Night & Davis Cup Rematch

It was a great night with lots of Juniors enjoying their tennis from the youngsters in Family Night to the older juniors in the Davis Cup Rematch. The adults must have been practising hard for this date, as this time they drew! Roll on the next one....

A big well done to Torin Pitfield and George Everitt (pictured below) for winning both their singles matches today to beat Beckenham LTC today by 2 matches to nil.

Well done to the Girls 16's team of Emma Eismontaite (pictured below) and Rachel Harrison who beat Shooters Hill yesterday by 2 rubbers to 1. Both girls won their singles matches.

Well done to the Boy's 16's team of Louis Grieves (pictured below) and Luke Godwin who beat David Lloyd Dartford yesterday by 2 rubbers to one. Louis won his singles and the boys paired up to win the deciding doubles 6-2 6-3

We had great fun at the Easter Camps with our 4-7 year olds. Particularly the animal noises during a game of Cowboys & Indians!

Big Welcome to Anna
We are delighted to announce that WAM Tennis has a new coach - Anna Chwiejczak!
Anna will be joining us, as of the 21st April, and comes to us from Bromley Lawn Tennis Club. Anna was a nationally ranked player in her native Poland and is a Level 3 coach, working towards Level 4. Anna will be Head of Performance Coaching and we are so excited to have her join us.
Anna will be available for private coaching as well as leading many established junior and adults sessions. She will also be leading our popular Friday Family Night sessions which will recommence on Friday 28th April!
I'm sure you will join with us in giving Anna a very warm welcome!

Lilian had only been coming in to Sundridge Park for a short time, but has had to move to Epsom. We will all miss you! Good luck with your tennis - you can be a great player, as long as you keep working ultra hard! :-)
Easter Camps Buzzing at Sundridge Park!
We were blessed with great weather for the Easter camps and we had a whole lot of fun! Many thanks for coming in and look forward to seeing you all on the half term camps starting Tuesday May 30th.
Red Nose Juniors v Adults Davis Cup Challenge at Sundridge Park!
We had an exceptional turnout for the juniors v adults Red Nose Davis Cup challenge, with the juniors taking victory, despite the adults winning the last relay event (with some clever manipulation of the rules!)
Special thanks to all that made cakes, Carolyn Everitt, Anna Wilson and everyone else that helped out. A huge thank you to Louise Anand (Loonar Designs) for doing the face painting (which was incredible!) at no charge to the Club.
The Club raised £400 for Red Nose and took £800 behind the bar. The clubhouse was rocking all evening and a fantastic time was had by all!

Well done to all you Mini Green Matchplayers!!
We ran our first Mini Green Matchplay event yesterday afternoon at the Club. For some of them it was their first experience of playing matches. Everyone did really well and the matches were played in great spirits. A special mention to Isaac Holdaway who remained unbeaten all afternoon...well done!! We will be running more of these events after Easter, so watch this space!
Lots of fun had at Sundridge Park midweek tournament!
We had 20 participants for the midweek tournament last Thursday. David Mccart and Sam McCarthy were the winners, with Becky MacCallum & Hannah Maynard finishing a close 2nd. There was some great tennis played throughout the morning and a lovely lunch followed. Many thanks to Sandra Whichello for running the tournament. The club made a profit of £123, so a big win win!!
